Family owned since 2009
A local crew that treats your home like its own.
DMV Chimney & Vent Services started with one truck and a simple idea: homeowners deserve to see the evidence behind every recommendation. Fifteen years later we serve more than 70 towns across Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia — and we still photograph everything we find.
Chimney sweeping, dryer vent cleaning and air duct cleaning are the three systems that carry fire and air through your house. Doing all three means you have one accountable team instead of three contractors pointing at each other.

What we stand for
Four rules we do not break.
Safety first, always
Every job starts with a camera inspection and ends with a written report. We never recommend work we cannot show you evidence for.
Certified, not just experienced
Our technicians hold CSIA certification and complete ongoing training on every system type we service.
Family owned since 2009
We are a local, family-run company. The person who answers your call is the person responsible for the result.
Respect for your time
Two-hour arrival windows, text updates and a technician who calls ahead. We show up when we say we will.
Our standard
How every job is run.
Inspect before we quote
We look at the actual flue, liner and duct routing before pricing anything — never a flat guess over the phone.
Contain the mess
Drop cloths, HEPA vacuums and negative pressure mean your home looks untouched when we leave.
Document everything
Photos, camera footage and airflow readings go into your written report.
Recommend only what is needed
If your system is fine, we tell you that. Our reputation depends on it.

They found a cracked liner our home inspector missed and relined the whole flue. Showed me the camera footage before and after. Genuinely the most professional contractor I have had in this house.
Our dryer took two cycles for everything. They cleaned a vent run that was almost completely blocked and tested the airflow right in front of me. One cycle now. Should have done this years ago.
Two kids with allergies, so I was nervous about duct cleaning. They set up containment, kept the mess out of the house entirely, and the difference in dust on the furniture was obvious within a week.
We burn wood all winter out here. They swept, showed me exactly how much creosote had built up, and gave me a written schedule for next season. Fair price, no upselling at all.
